The Illinois Coalition for Manufacturing Innovation (ICMI) is comprised of the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), in partnership with Argonne National Laboratory and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The ICMI launched a pilot initiative to create and disseminate improved models for adoption of innovation by small and medium-sized manufacturers through collaboration with research institutions, mainly located in the State of Illinois. Furthermore, this partnership will initiate innovation in engineering education.
