JOE BOGGIO

Director, Innovation Management Solutions, Microsoft Industry Solutions Organization

Joe Boggio is a member of Microsoft's Industry Solutions Organization (ISO), which works to align Microsoft's technology and partner ecosystem to address key industry challenges. The ISO team supports the Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Professional Services, and Financial Services industries.

Since 2006, Boggio has been passionately working with clients, partners, and industry thought leaders to understand and address the fundamental challenges of innovation. Boggio is spearheading the design and delivery of solutions which help Microsoft clients to manage the innovation process with greater transparency and discipline. These solutions include Ideation and Knowledge Capture, Knowledge and Process Management, and Project and Portfolio Management.

Prior to his current role, Boggio served as Microsoft’s business manager for global automotive manufacturer. In leading the account team, Boggio developed and implemented business solutions across several broad functional areas, such as manufacturing, engineering, and sales and marketing. Boggio also worked to establish an Innovation Council which provided process and governance for the development and evaluation of supplier innovations.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Joe held sales leadership and business development positions at Oracle and IBM.

Joe holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering as well as a distinguished scholar award from Michigan State University.
